La idea del projecte “Espai, objecte, temps” ha estat fotografiar objectes quotidians que ja han estat viscuts i utilitzats i que han acabat a diferents llocs insospitats del mapa.

S’ha volgut parlar del viatge, a través d’aquests objectes. Han tingut una vida i un recorregut, s’han desplaçat, han fet un viatge. Des de la seva fabricació fins al lloc on es troben ara fotografiats, actualment abandonats, i pot ser que el seu viatge al llarg del temps acabi en aquest lloc o continui fins algun altre indret.

Se’ls ha volgut fotografiar com i on es troben actualment ja que ara es troben descontextualitzats, fora del seu entorn habitual, formant part d’un nou paisatge, i deixant de fer la seva funció original.

Les fotografies tenen l’objectiu de que l’espectador es plantegi qüestions com, de qui deuria ser l’objecte, com ha arribat fins al lloc on està, quan de temps l’han tingut els seus propietaris o com i qui deurien ser.

 

The idea of the project "Space, object, time" has been to photograph everyday objects that have already been lived and used and that have ended up in different unexpected places.

I wanted to talk about the journey, through these objects. They’ve had a life and a journey, they’ve moved, they’ve taken a journey. From their manufacture to the place where they are now photographed, abandoned, and their journey over time may end in that place or continue to some other place.

I wanted to photograph how and where they are today as they are now decontextualized, out of their usual environment, they are part of a new landscape, and no longer perform their original function.

The aim of the photographs is for the viewer to ask themselves questions such as, how they got there, how long they have been owned by their owners or how and who are.
